Hinglish captions generator
Most creators speak a mix of Hindi and English, and want captions written in Roman letters, like "ye video sirf das minute mein bana". Editr produces Hinglish captions using Deepgram speech recognition and a clean-up pass for common slang, then lets you style them like any other caption.
Why use Editr
Roman-letter Hinglish
Captions come out in Latin script, the way your audience actually reads them on Reels and Shorts.
Use your own Deepgram key
Add your Deepgram API key once in Settings. Audio goes to Deepgram only when you generate Hinglish captions.
Edit every word
Fix any word by hand. The timing follows, and you can split or merge captions on the timeline.
Hindi too
Prefer Devanagari? Choose Hindi and get captions in हिन्दी.

- 4Pick words per caption, generate, then style and export.
Questions
Why does Hinglish need a Deepgram key?
The on-device speech model cannot write Roman-letter Hindi. Deepgram can, so Hinglish uses your own Deepgram account and key.
Does it cost anything?
Editr is free during launch. Deepgram bills you directly for the audio you send, and new Deepgram accounts get free credit.
Can I get an SRT file in Hinglish?
Yes. Once the captions are generated, export them as SRT, VTT, ASS, TXT or JSON.
