YouTube video editor online
Editr works for YouTube videos as well as short clips. Set a 16:9 sequence, cut your footage on the timeline, grade the colour, balance the sound in the mixer and export. Captions can go in the video or out as an SRT file you upload to YouTube.

Is Editr free?
You can start for free: sign in with Google and open the studio. The plans and what each one includes are on the pricing page.
Can I make Shorts too?
Yes. Set a 9:16 sequence for Shorts. There is also a page about captions for YouTube Shorts.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. The video files you add stay on your device, in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.
What can I export?
A finished video as MP4, WebM or MOV, the audio on its own as MP3, and captions as SRT, VTT, ASS, TXT or JSON.
